Play

Here at Pipkin’s Patch we encourage children to be independent and confident and to develop and learn through play both structured and free. We also incorporate lots of physical play.

We have a safe, secure enclosed garden with a climbing frame, slide, see saw, sand and water table, bikes, scooters, ride-on toys and balls and weather permitting incorporate outside play in the garden every afternoon before dinner time.

We have a wide variety of toys and equipment, all meet British Safety Standards and have been carefully chosen to meet the different ages and stages of development. The toys encourage learning and are both challenging as well as promoting a positive image of diversity.

We take daily outings, walks in the park, trips to farms, play centres, fruit and veg picking and other local attractions.
