We have two safe, secure enclosed gardens with a climbing frame, slide, see saw, sand and water table, play house, bikes, scooters, ride-on toys and balls and weather permitting incorporate outside play in the gardens every afternoon before dinner time.
We have a wide variety of toys and equipment, all meet British Safety Standards and have been carefully chosen to meet the different ages and stages of development. The toys encourage learning and are both challenging as well as promoting a positive image of diversity.
Here at Pipkin’s Patch we encourage children to be independent and confident and to develop and learn through play both structured and free. We also incorporate lots of physical play.
We take daily outings, walks in Richmond Park and along the river. We have messy play every afternoon and follow a different topic each month.
All art work is displayed on the walls so that the children can take pride in their efforts and have a true sense of belonging whilst they are here.
